FIFA 15 Ultimate Team

FIFA 15 Ultimate Team, released on PC, AND, etc., is a free-to-play, slimmed-down version of Electronic Arts' most popular football series, developed by EA Romania. The game focuses on the title Ultimate Team mode, which for several years has been an integral part of the series' main entries.

Mechanics

The goal of the game is to lead our team to success. The game begins with a modest background and a randomly assigned line-up of players of a lower category, but as the game progresses, we gain further packs of special collector cards, symbolizing players, staff, training, outfits or stadiums. The game depicts more than 10,000 real players from 500 clubs, representing more than 30 of the world's strongest leagues. When determining the tactics and composition of our team, we have to take into account not only the individual skills of individual players but also the chemistry between them. The best results are achieved by putting together players of the same nationality or playing in the same leagues and clubs daily.

Game modes

FIFA 15 Ultimate Team offers six main game modes. Quick Match allows you to face a random or self-selected opponent. In Team of the Week mode, we can try to face the team of the best players of the week, and in Games of the Week, we play the most interesting, real meetings of the past 7 days. For more demanding players, there are also tournaments and leagues where participation requires the fulfillment of certain criteria. In these modes, we compete with a computer or live players from all over the world, trying to get promoted to a higher league.

Technical aspects

The graphics in FIFA 15 Ultimate Team are at an average level, reminiscent of fully-fledged entries of the series from a few years ago. However, this is the result of a compromise between the quality of graphics and relatively small hardware requirements. What deserves attention is the sophisticated controls system, which offers a simplified and advanced variant. Windows 8 users without touchscreens can use traditional keyboard or mouse control methods.
