A two-dimensional platformer that resembles the iconic Limbo. It was developed by two independent programmers: Adrian Stutz and Florian Faller and has won many industry awards, including Excellence in Visual Arts. We play as a little creature that only moves to the right, traversing levels filled with traps and enemies. Our character can fight back by throwing objects or attacking with a stick, while he retains his distance.

Feist Description
Feist is a 2D platformer created by indie developers: Adrian Stutz and Florian Faller. The title has been repeatedly awarded, it is the finalist of the 2009 Independent Games Festival in the Excellence in Visual Arts category. The huge success of the production proves that you do not need a multi-million dollar budget and an entire experienced developer studio to create an interesting and absorbing game; sometimes an idea can be enough, in this case almost copied from the competitory title – Limbo; Feist’s graphic style is realised in a similar manner and the gameplay mechanics are a huge resemblance.
In the production we take control of a small creature, the player can only progress through the curiously designed levels by moving right and we experience the entirety of the world from a side view. Direct combat with enemies we encounter along the way is one of the few elements, which distinguish the title from Limbo. The main character flings various items in the direction of the hostile creatures, and can also bounce enemies back with an ordinary stave, while also keeping the adequate distance; physics play a major role in Feist and the players will use its laws more than once to achieve success, sometimes we will need to drag an object to another location, on other occasions we will need to apply enough force to lower a tree trunk onto the edge of a crevice.
The graphic style has been designed in a very peculiar fashion, which will be very familiar to fans of the platformer Limbo. The title features 2D graphics, where the specific elements of our surroundings are only black outlines of the actual objects. In comparison to its competitor from the PlayDead studio, Feist has more refined backgrounds with a wider spectrum of colors. During our playthrough we will experience the calm soundtrack, which does not force itself on the player, creating an excellent background for the events of the game.
