Fear The Night is an action game focused on survival. The action of the game takes place in a world dominated by zombies. The player's task is to survive in a world where man is a species on the verge of extinction.

Plot

The action of the game takes place in a fictional world. Most of its inhabitants were turned into bloodthirsty zombies. The player takes on the role of one of the few survivors of the apocalypse. Thay have to adapt to the prevailing conditions and survive in a dangerous environment. This can be done alone or in a group with other players.

Mechanics

Fear the Night has extensive gameplay mechanics. The player must take care of their character's basic needs, such as having a shelter. In order to do this, it is necessary to collect resources that will enable us to craft the desired items. Some of them can only be found in abandoned locations of various origins. To get to them, however, it is necessary to pry them off the hands of zombies.

An important role in the game is also played by the day and night system. Depending on the time of day, zombies display different activity. At night they become more aggressive. The undead are mainly attracted by sounds and smells. After dark, their senses become more sharp. It is therefore easier for them to track down a potential victim. Night-time exploration forces the player to be more careful.

The player can take care of their own safety. In the game world we can find a number of caves captured by zombies. Cleaning them increases safety in the area. Additionally, in the game you can find robots, which were programmed to attack the undead. Players who have the ability to hack them will gain a companion to support them in battle.

Fear the Night emphasizes group play. However, in addition to playing on servers, players have also been given access to a single player mode.

Technical aspects

Fear the Night features three-dimensional graphics. Particularly noteworthy are the detailed character models. It is also worth mentioning the diversity of the game world. During the exploration you can come across forests, abandoned towns or construction sites.
