OpenCritic
Another installment in the annually released farming simulator series developed by GIANTS Software. This time, however, the creators decided to develop a game exclusively for handheld devices like PS Vita or Nintendo 3DS. In terms of mechanics, Farming Simulator 18 highly resembles the previous installments, especially the handheld version of Farming Simulator 16.
The PSV, AND and etc. edition of Farming Simulator 18 is another installment of the popular Farming Simulator series, developed by GIANTS Software. Unlike Farming Simulator 17, this installment of the series has been released only for the handheld devices.
Mechanics
In terms of gameplay mechanics, Farming Simulator 18 resembles the previous mobile installment of series: 2015’s Farming Simulator 16. The game sees the players running their farms in an attempt to make it a profitable business. To achieve this, players have to take care of a number of things, such as cultivating various plants, from potatoes to turnip. In order for the crops to be bountiful, one first has to cultivate the soil by scarifying it. Then, plants have to be seeded and the farmer has to take good care of them while they grow. Afterwards, one can be proud of the results and sell the goods in order to invest and develop the farm.
The PSV, AND and etc. version of Farming Simulator 18 does not lack the series’ representative feature, namely a wide range of licensed agricultural machinery. In total, developers have prepared over 50 vehicles of the world’s top brands, including Challenger, Fendt, Massey, Ferguson and Valtra.

Thumb Culture: 7 / 10
Farming Simulator 18 hits the handheld market this week, this review in particular focuses on the PS Vita. Released by Giants Software the game brings a scaled down version of last years release. However with the scaled down version it leaves a couple of features out.
Nintendo Enthusiast: 8.5 / 10 by A.K Rahming
For younger players, or those who just want a casual, laidback experience on their 3DS, Farming Simulator 18 is actually a pretty solid buy.
GameZone: 7.5 / 10 by Travis Amores
'Farming Simulator 18' is ideal for veterans to the series, but not so much for those jumping in for the first time. The whole experience is tedious and really only satisfying if you're willing to put a lot of time into it, so expect a lot of grinding.
