Far Peak is a psychological adventure game with elements of strategy and survival from iFun4All studio in Krakow, known mainly for its unusual stealth game called Serial Cleaner. The game is based on mechanisms developed for Blind'n'Bluff platformer, which ultimately hasn't been released.
Plot
The action Far Peak takes place in the 1990s and its plot was based on authentic accounts of Himalayan mountaineers. During the game, we will learn the fate of a group of people trying to climb inaccessible peaks of the Himalayas.
Mechanics
The gameplay of Far Peak is a combination of typical adventure games with strategic and survival elements. We climb the mountainous terrain, taking care of various dangers and the condition of the heroes. The relations between the team members are important - they are influenced by subsequent events and morally difficult decisions.
Technical aspects
Visually, Far Peak is reminiscent of the earlier production of iFun4All - the game has a two-dimensional, angular graphics associated with works by artists such as Matthew Lyons or Moebius. The title also uses Real World Data technology, which changes the gameplay based on information collected in the real world.
