Fantasy Commander: Eucarion Wars is a turn-based strategy game set in the reality of fantasy. It was created by a small Age of Games studio and released by Matrix Games/Slitherine, a duo specializing in this type of productions.
Players take on the role of Kommander, the hero who takes care of the armies of the kingdom of Adamantii and faces the challenge of stopping the enemy forces raging on the territory of a huge continent called Eukarion. In addition, they must follow the commands sent by Emperor Karl and the magicians' association - they act as side quests and develop the main story with new threads. In total, the creators have prepared 4 campaigns - three of which take place on the territory of Eucarion, and one on a mysterious, yet undiscovered land - allowing them to take part in 25 different missions.
The game takes place in turn-based system, and the characters move around hexes - in total we have at our disposal over 70 units of different races (elves, druids, dwarves or undeads), each of which has statistics created on the fashion of those found in the RPG genre. During the next fights our troops gather experience, thanks to which you can increase the value of selected features and buy new skills. Success in skirmishes is influenced not only by the strength of our army or its morale, but also by external factors, such as obstacles on the map or terrain. Three heroes (dwarves, elves and people), who we can get used to during individual skirmishes and take advantage of their exceptional abilities, are also helpful in the fight against enemies.
