The Bard's Tale

The game is an introduction to the world of Fallout, meant for the console users. Our goal is to work within the ranks of the Brotherhood of Steel which tries to bring order to chaos spreading throughout the post-apocalyptic wasteland. The action takes place between the first and the second Fallout.

While Fallouts for PC are classical RPGs, Brotherhood of Steel is a hack ‘n’ slash. The player’s party, performing various tasks for the Brotherhood, will go deeper into the wasteland, through desert, small villages, destroyed towns and secret military and science complexes. Similar to the original, the player-controlled characters gain experience, develop their skills and make use of the equipment found on the road. Apart from the standard party control, there is also the possibility of real players joining the game in cooperation mode.

The turn mode was completely deleted from the game, so all action takes place in real time. To even the odds, the developers added the dodging feature and long-range weapon aiming. During combat, it is possible to move and switch targets. We have over 50 types of weapons at our disposal, ranging from a baseball bat to rocket launcher.

Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel for PlayStation 2 is powered by the engine of Snowblind Studios, previously used in such games as Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance.
