Falling Out is a 2D platform game. It tells the story of a married couple who explore a pyramid where dark forces have awakened. The game allows you to play solo or in co-op mode. The gameplay is enriched by randomly generated maps.

Falling Out is a 2D platform game with roguelike elements. The game was developed by PolyCrunch Games studio, for which this was the debut project.

Plot

The main characters are Giorgio and Felicie, a married couple who win a trip to Egypt in a contest. While visiting a pyramid, the couple accidentally awakens ancient forces and gets lost in the labyrinth of the structure. In order to survive, they will have to overcome the differences that divide them and learn to work together, as this is the only way they have a chance to get out of this trouble.

Game mechanics

Falling Out is a two-dimensional platform game with roguelike elements. We explore maps, avoid traps, fight enemies, collect items and solve simple puzzles. The fun is diversified by the fact that many of the pyramid's sections are gradually flooded with water, forcing a fast pace of gameplay.

The game's maps are randomly generated, so fresh challenges await us on each approach. On top of that, there is a crafting system, where we acquire construction plans and collect resources, which allows us to create new items and weapons.
