All of these dilemmas - and more - can now easily be avoided thanks to EyeToy: Chat, a videophone application for PS2 that lets you converse with friends and fellow Chat owners - face-to-face.
All you'll need to get Chatting is a PS2, a Network Adaptor and broadband connection to get online, an EyeToy (which has a built-in mic) and a copy of EyeToy: Chat. Then it's just a matter of finding other Chat users to talk to - and you're away!
