Extreme Rock Climbing Description
Extreme Rock Climbing is the next, after Extreme Paintbrawl, edition of Extreme Sports series, developed by Creative Carnage development studio in cooperation with Head Games publishing house. The game is sponsored by the popular brand of food products for athletes - Power Bar.
Players have the opportunity to try their hand at virtual rock climbing. The fun begins with the selection of one of the available climbers and the summit, which will be the goal of the expedition. The creators made sure that the rocks differed not only in height, but also in the degree of difficulty. The game offers four modes: practice, free climb, capture and solo climbing.
The game combines arcade and simulation elements. By controlling the character's actions, the player must plan and make the next moves on the way to the top. This requires the identification of the appropriate attachment point and the determination of the gripping force. Both slow climbing and mistakes reduce the health of the virtual sportsman. However, he can regain his vitality thanks to the consumption of Power Bar bars.
Extreme Rock Climbing audiovisual luminaire clearly indicates the low-budget character of the production. Three-dimensional graphics used in the game are characterized by a small degree of detail, and animations of character movement leave a lot to be desired.
