Extraterrestrial Armies is the first game in Tehran's Raspina Entertainment studio, which previously operated under the name Tigra. The aim of the project is to combine a modern, dynamic FPS with a feature film background referring to the history and tradition of Iran.
Extraterrestrial Armies is located in a fictional world of the future, in which humanity is overwhelmed by wars for access to energy resources. The player plays the role of a soldier of one of the factions involved in the conflict and takes part in spectacular battles.
The game offers standard elements present in the majority of modern first person shootouts. Players have access to a wide range of weapons and military equipment that they can use in battles with enemies. Like Call of Duty, the plot of the main campaign is heavily scripted, which allowed the creators to have a momentum and spectacularity of the scenes.
In technical terms, the game uses the potential of the free version of the popular Unreal Engine 3 (Ureal Development Kit) engine. This allowed developers from Raspina Studios to use, among other things, advanced lighting effects and refined animation of objects.
