DRAG is a racing game in which the player takes control of off-road vehicles. The game combines realistic vehicle physics with an arcade driving model. It is the debut game of Orontes Games.
Mechanics
DRAG focuses on off-road rallies. The player sits behind the wheel of off-road vehicles and takes part in races on muddy tracks. The vehicles available in the game are characterized by realistic physics. This means that vehicle behaviour is influenced by a number of factors, such as tyre wear and damage. At the same time, the creators made sure that the driving model included arcade elements.
There are hardly any rules during the races. Players can, among other things, push their opponents off the route and use the airstream to gain speed. At the same time, he must consider whether his actions will not cause too much damage. The only condition to finish the competition is to do a special, longer lap called a joker.
Game modes
DRAG allows you to play the story campaign in single player mode and participate in races with other players.
Technical aspects
DRAG uses a special 4CPT technology, which simulates the distribution of mass on the wheels of the vehicle. This makes it possible to reflect the behaviour of each element of the vehicle.
