Evil Islands: Forgotten in Astrale PC

Forgotten in Astrale is a subtitle of a stand-alone addition to Evil Islands: Curse of the Lost Soul, a well received by players position of the cRPG genre with elements of strategy. Behind the plug-in is a group of enthusiasts of the original version of the game, gathered in the Matilda Entertainment development studio, who in the final phase of the project received support from Nival Interactive, producers of Evil Islands.

Forgotten in Astrale continues the best traditions of its original, as well as the original, combining elements of cRPG and strategic and tactical. The three Evil Islands Islands are joined by one new, unique island where most of the events of the addition take place. A long time ago, thanks to magical incantation, it was surrounded by the astral sphere, making it invisible, so everyone forgot about its existence. One of the main changes is also the presence of a kind of helper of the main character. The plot is indirectly linked to Evil Islands, referring to events known from the original version of the game, but the creators have prepared a completely new story for the players.

The main character of the story is Kir-A-Cit-la, simply called Kir for simplicity. Together with his family, he spent all his life behind the walls in captivity with the evil Necromancer. He finally manages to escape, but has to return to free his family and take revenge on his former torturer. Unfortunately, his knowledge about the world of Kir is based solely on books, among which he grew up, so it is no wonder that in the collision with reality he feels more than awkward. Kel, a young, rebellious and energetic girl, brought up in slums on one of the islands, comes to his aid. Together they go to the meeting of destiny.

Forgotten in Astrale's gameplay is based on a series of missions, related to the main axis of the plot. However, the programmers have also prepared side and extended, secret quests, the completion of which leads to different ends of the game. 120 missions of different types are impressive - in addition to the already mentioned non-linear and secret quests, there are also random challenges, tasks that can only be performed alone or in groups, and even such requiring the ability to discreetly sneak through the shadows. Moreover, some of them can be done in several different ways. All this means that the time needed to complete the allowance, of course with all possible goals, is much longer than it was at Evil Islands.

The creators of Forgotten in Astrale took on wallpaper a bit old graphic layer, which results in more detailed character models, as well as improved animations and visual effects. In the game we also find a number of novelties, which include additional weaponry, weapons or magic items. New monsters and enemies appeared, as well as new NPCs, a balanced battle system, 3 character classes and several epic battles with up to 80 warriors.
