The second installment in a series of arcade party games exxlusive to the Nintendo Switch. Everybody 1-2-Switch! introduces new minigames and lets players use smartphones as controllers.
Everybody 1-2-Switch is the second installment in a series of arcade party games originating from 2017. It was developed by Nintendo, being exclusive to the Nintendo Switch.
Mechanics
Just like the first installment, Everybody 1-2-Switch! is a compliation of multiplayer minigames. Many of them have different variations, different rules and offering different challenges. They include minigames in which players compete for a high score and team-based minigames, in which players must work together to succeed.
As opposed to the previous game, the sequel can be played using Joy-Cons and smartphones.
Technical aspects
The visuals of Everybody 1-2-Switch! aren't particularly impressive. They do not need to be, as the game mainly uses the console screen to display scores of individual players or teams.
