The Legacy of Ykesha is another add-on for EverQuest, a great MMORPG by Sony Online Entertainment. This expansion offers a bunch of news, both in terms of additional elements of the game world and gameplay mechanics. It is also the first EverQuest extension that is distributed mainly via digital channels.
For centuries, troll clans fought for the leadership of their kind. After the Grob clan had built the Night Keep, they managed to dominate their brethren, which upset the Broken Skull clan that eventually left the city and built its own stronghold. Many years later, members of the Broken Skull came back to destroy everything in their path, and by doing so, they changed the world of Norrath forever.
As far as the storyline is concerned, that’s about it. The most important novelty, first and foremost, is the new playable race of Froglogs which, although previously present in the game, wasn’t available to the players. Another big novelty is the Broken Skull Rock island, one of the most mysterious lands in the entire Norrath. Moreover, we got innovative journal that records all conversations with NPCs, guild management system, equipment appearance modification tool, unique map creation system, as well as a number of new quests, spells and items.
