The 14th expansion pack for EverQuest - an MMORPG which has remained popular since its release in 1999. Secrets of Faydwer was developed by Daybreak Game Company. This time, the players have to face the forces of a necromancer by the name of Meldrath, who has been preparing to invade the kingdom of Ak'Anon.
Secrets of Faydwer is the fourteenth addition to one of the most popular MMORPGs (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) - Everquest. The manufacturer of this PC-based game is Sony Online Entertainment.
The plot is standard. As befits true fantasy, evil threatens the world again. Located on the ancient Faydwer continent, the kingdom of Ak'Anon faces an unexpected attack from the necromancer Meldrath. He collected his armies in the Steamfront Mountains and is preparing for the invasion. Using a powerful flying fortress called Mechanotus, it literally tears the earth apart and discovers completely new tunnels and old mine shafts that lead to previously unexplored corners of Faydwer.
Thanks to the new addition, the player can visit places such as the cursed and lost in the darkness of centuries mysterious Bloodmoon Fortress inhabited by unlucky travelers eating souls, ploughing. You can also meet the prismatic dragon Kerafym, who in Dragonscale Hills plans to take revenge on his oppressors.
Secrets of Faydwer allows you to advance your character to the 80th level of experience. Along with the discovery of new places for daredevils, numerous magical objects await to be found. Of course, there will be no shortage of new skills and spells, which will certainly be able to save many a magician. Fifteen completely new areas were opened for exploration. Among them are the already mentioned mechanical flying fortress Meldratha and the Crystal Mushroom Dragon Kerafyma. There were also new quests and heroic challenges. For players who like joint rallies, the creators have put them in addition to twenty-eight. They are designed mainly for high-level characters.
