Another expansion for the popular game EverQuest, in which you return to Kunark to face the threat of the Sarnak Empire. The expansion adds new areas to conquer and quests to complete, as well as a set of spells, battle skills, and the ability to reach level 110.
EverQuest: Ring of Scale Description
Ring of Scale is the 24th non-standalone expansion for EverQuest, a popular MMORPG by Daybreak Game Company. Like the core game, it was released for PC
Plot
The story of EverQuest: Ring of Scale follows the events of the previous expansion. You return to Kunark and witness the conflict between the Combine Empire and Sarnak Empire, whose result will affect the face of the whole land of Norrath.
Mechanics
EverQuest: Ring of Scale doesn't change the gameplay mechanics much. Instead, the developers focused on adding new content. The expansion allows you to reach level 110 and conquer six areas to complete, both familiar and brand new ones, including Gorowyn. There are also new main and side quests, as well as raids. Other novelties include previously unseen spells and battle abilities, which you can use against your new enemies, and collectible items.
Technical aspects
EverQuest: Ring of Scale uses the same engine as the core game and its previous expansion, so the audiovisual layer has stayed mostly the same as before.
Other
The original EverQuest game was released in 1999, making it one of the longest-running MMORPGs in history. The popularity of the production has not diminished despite the fact that an official sequel, EverQuest II, was released in 2004.
