Europa Universalis III: In Nomine Description
Europa Universalis III: In Nomine is an addition to the popular Europa Universalis strategy series. Paradox Interactive is a non-self-reliant extension that requires a full version of Napoleon's Ambition, available on the Gamer's Gate website.
In Nomine takes us back in time to 1399, when Henry IV ascended the English throne. The end of the 14th and first half of the 15th century are very rich in historical events, which were taken into account by the artists. The game features Mongolian invasions on Turkey, the Centenary War and the agony of the Byzantine Empire. In addition to international conflicts, we are also struggling with internal problems - the process of unification of the United Kingdom or conflicts on the background of reform and counter-reformation ("Paris is worth a mass"). All in all - more than 50 years of turbulent history of the world.
Paradox Interactive has introduced a number of improvements to its product. One of the innovative ideas is the mission system, responsible for setting the next tasks to be achieved, which prevents linearity in the game. The creators also focused on broadening the diplomatic aspect - in the face of religious conflicts, our attitude towards reformers has a significant impact on the development of the state and its perception in the world. The same is true of the rebels, who are not lacking in In Nomine - we can negotiate with them or convince them to be right with fire and sword.
The graphics, in relation to the previous versions of the series, have not changed - it is very symbolic. It is mainly limited to a political map and numerous windows with options that allow us to effectively control our territories.
