An arcade simulator of powerful trucks, developed by the experienced Czech studio SCS Software. Unlike the previous games created by this company (Hard Truck and 18 Wheels of Steel series), this title concentrates on European roads and vehicles, which were recreated with minute attention to detail. The gameplay focuses on traveling through Europe and delivering various types of cargo to selected destinations.
Euro Truck Simulator for PC is a game developed by SCS Software. It allows the player to take control of large trucks and visit many European roads and cities. It is worth adding that the title was developed by people who previously created a similar game – Hard Truck 18 Wheels of Steel.
Mechanics
While the above mentioned title gave the player access to American trucks, Euro Truck Simulator (as the name suggests) focuses on European vehicles. They were recreated with great attention to details and based on actual vehicles – including the cabin interior and various indicators that can be found there (temperature, fuel etc.). However, the driving model isn’t realistic – the player doesn’t need to be experienced in driving trucks to enjoy playing Euro Truck Simulator for PC.
The gameplay focuses on delivering cargo to the destination. During the journey the player can visit many realistic streets, including ones based on actual roads. As the player completes new tasks, he will visit the most well known and characteristic European cities, including Rome, Berlin, Madrid and Prague.
Technical aspects
The developers of Euro Truck Simulator for PC once more improved the graphics engine that was used before in the 18 Wheels of Steel series. This time it can generate larger areas and provide the title with more detailed truck models. The roads were made longer as well.
