Etrian Odyssey III: The Drowned City is the third part of the Japanese RPG saga. This time the story takes us to the sunken, ancient city of Amroad, where we are looking for old technologies and treasures.

The Drowned City is the title of the third installment of the Etrian Odyssey saga, RPG games created in a typically Japanese style. Fans of the series should be delighted that the development process was attended by Shigeo Komori, who was the head of the project, Yuji Himukai, the character designer and Yuzo Koshiro responsible for the music.

This time the main theme of the game is the ocean, namely the waters surrounding the island city of Amroad. Hundreds of years ago, a powerful earthquake made this ancient city completely hidden under the surface of the ocean and turned into a huge labyrinth. Since then, daredevils and adventurers have gone to the remains of Amroad to find valuable technologies or hidden treasures. Of course, there is also a player among them.

In addition to the plot, the style of the game in Etrian Odyssey III has not changed compared to its predecessors - we still see on one of the screens the locations we are traveling, while on the other there is an interactive map, which is created with our active participation. The creators have added 5 new character classes, so we have the opportunity to travel across Amroad as Prince, Phalanx, Monk, Shinobi or Pirate.
