A strategy game that takes us into a fantastic world of war. During the game we acquire raw materials, expand the city, and recruit an army, which we put up to fight the enemy's troops. The title was created with virtual reality sets in mind.

Etherland is a strategy game enriched with survival elements. The small, independent studio Fractiv is responsible for the development of the game - its ranks are joined by one of the founders of Adhesive Games, which created the popular Hawken.

Mechanics

Etherland takes the players to a war-torn fantasy world. The mechanics of the game was based on a formula developed for the needs of other representatives of the genre, so in the course of the game, we are mainly involved in the acquisition of resources and the development of the city, which is the starting point for the army we create. The battles with enemies, to which we send various individuals - from the numerous, though weaker infantry, to the powerful beings wreaking havoc in the ranks of the enemy - also play an important role. As we make progress, we can improve our troops, thereby increasing their combat potential.
