A singleplayer RPG which tries to emulate the MMORPG experience. Erenshor is about exploring an open fantasy world, developing our character, winning fights and completing typical quests. This is all done while being surrounded by AI characters simulating real players and their reactions.

Erenshor is a single-player role-playing game simulating an MMO. It was created by the independent studio Burgee Media. The world of the game is inhabited by AI-controlled characters. They have unique personalities, communicate and form guilds, giving the impression of being real players.

Gameplay

The gameplay looks like a typical MMORPG. After choosing a character class, we enter an open fantasy world. Unlike other titles of the mentioned genre, instead of real people, we are surrounded by "SimPlayers" controlled by artificial intelligence. They can collect treasures, advance and create guilds, and even invite us to group activities, such as raids. They often comment on what is happening during combat or sometimes ask us to share the loot.

Every NPC can be attacked and robbed, which affects the relations between factions. The interactions proceed similarly to those in Tibia - after greeting the client or merchant, we type words using the chat function. Characters react to predefined expressions and usually have highlighted text in the dialogue box, which helps to maintain the conversation.

Paying attention to conversations is crucial, as we won't a map or any markers in Erenshor. The game emphasizes the exploration of the world and the discovery of its secrets. In addition to completing quests, we are engaged in mining gold ore scattered all over the island or fishing near large bodies of water.

Combat, according to the standards set by the base version of World of Warcraft, involves dealing blows while standing, which for most of the time happens automatically.
