Plot

Ereban: Shadow Legacy takes us to the fantasy-futuristic world. The game's main character is Ayana - the last representative of the forgotten Ereban race, who is trying to discover her own identity and find out what fate has befallen her people. The answers to the questions that plague her are the key to saving the world, which is on the brink of collapse. It is not easy to achieve this goal, as the forces of the sinister megacorporation Helios are hot on her heels.

Game mechanics

In Ereban: Shadow Legacy we observe the action from a third person perspective (TPP). The adventure leads us through various locations - from the ruins of cities to futuristic complexes, which Helios arranged in ancient temples among others. We complete tasks, gradually learning more and more about the heroine, her people and the world presented. Exploration is often connected with the necessity of overcoming platform challenges, in which we have to show dexterity and reflexes. Besides, we have to quickly learn how to deal with enemies.

Admittedly, Ayana doesn't stand a chance in direct clashes with Helios' robots, but the protagonist has an advantage over them that she can hide and move in the shadows. Thanks to this she can attack enemies by surprise, lose pursuit relatively easily or remain completely hidden, not drawing attention to herself. In addition, the girl's unusual skills are useful during exploration. As a shadow, she can climb walls and reach otherwise inaccessible places, thus covering considerable distances.

With time, we absorb the so-called echoes, which gives us access to new abilities. In addition, as we progress we acquire and create various useful gadgets, which also increase our potential (for example combat).
