Equilibrio is an arcade game for Sunday players, taking advantage of the capabilities of the Wii console. The creators of the program, the company DK Games, distribute their product through the WiiWare service.
The main driving force behind the game are logical puzzles, stimulating grey cells and not reflex-based skill tests. The most important task is to place a small ball, made of different materials such as paper, steel or glass, in the hole, manipulating the table on which it is placed using the Wii controller. Achievement of the goal is hindered by various obstacles placed on our way. Among them there are bobbins on which we can get stuck or poisonous fields. Completion of the mission often involves an attempt to use the laws of gravity, which will be helped by trampolines and even cannons. Equilibrio offers 64 different boards. The level of difficulty in the game depends on our skills and is automatically adjusted to them. After the rehearsal is completed, the result is recorded in the achievement list. We can play with three single player modes: Conquest, Random Level, Challenge and multiplayer options for up to four people.
In the arena where the ball moves we move with the help of a whisper. This is very intuitive and allows for a relaxing gameplay. Depending on the angle of inclination of the remote control, the ball changes its speed and direction of rolling. Manufacturers have implemented support for two controllers. In addition to the standard Wii Remote, we can also use the Wii Balance Board.
The graphics are two-dimensional. Its characteristic feature is the saturation of the virtual world with colours - the boards on which we will guide the ball were made with panache and imagination.
