A sequel to the popular 4X turn-based strategy from 2014. In Endless Legend 2 we end up on the oceanic planet called Saiadha. We can control one of the factions fighting for domination over this planet, ensuring its development, waging wars and using the extreme weather to our advantage.
Endless Legend 2 is a continuation of the 4X turn-based strategy game released in 2014. The sequel was developed by the authors of the first installment of the series, namely the team at Amplitude Studios, who oversee the brand. Its release was handled by Hooded Horse, known primarily for the Manor Lords project.
Story
The action of Endless Legend 2 takes place on the planet Saiadha. We're talking about an oceanic world devastated by changing seasons and gigantic tides. In these not very favorable conditions, several factions have emerged, each guided by an individual philosophy and having its own view of reality.
Gameplay
In Endless Legend 2 we lead one of the factions shaking Saiadha, and our task is to guide it to its domination over the others. Before we can accomplish this, we have to go a long way. We start the game with a small settlement, which we gradually transform into an empire.
We gather resources and erect new buildings in the game, as well as develop technology. In addition to this, we recruit heroes who can perform tasks for us, gaining experience and developing relationships, as well as leading units that defend our lands and conquer new territories.
Among the problems we have to face, opponents and prevailing conditions on the planet are the main ones. We can deal with our opponents by waging wars against them or embarking on the path of diplomacy. Although the weather forces us to constantly adapt, once we reach a certain stage of development, we can also confront it, taming catastrophes and utilizing new opportunities that the tides provide us (when the water recedes, we gain access to new territories).

We can play Endless Legend 2 alone or in multiplayer mode over the Internet.

Endless Legend 2 won't reinvent the wheel. It improves on the original in every respect, and that's completely fine with me
Amplitude Studios returns after 11 years to one of its first games. All signs suggest that the sequel will likely please all fans of the first installment.
