Maintained in fairy-tale climates, this is an economic game in which we lead our own kingdom of fantasy, and our goal is to bring it to splendour and prosperity. We have at our disposal a large number of residential, production and decorative buildings, as well as a number of crops, which provide craftsmen with an adequate supply of food.
Enchanted Realm, released on AND and iOS, is a fantasy style economic game from the popular genre of social "city builders", in which the task of players is to expand their fairy tale kingdom. Game Insight, a Lithuanian company specializing in mobile and browser games, known for such titles as Paradise Island, Big Business, My Country or The Tribez, is responsible for the development.
Mechanics
The action of Enchanted Realm takes place in the titular enchanted kingdom, in which magic is treated on an equal footing with other professions. The player takes on the role of the new ruler of this land, and their task is to expand the kingdom and bring it to its glory. We have at our disposal a wide range of residential buildings - thanks to which we will increase the population and production - which can provide us with the gold necessary for the expansion. Each craftsman requires a certain amount of food, which we will provide ourselves with a variety of crops. The game boils down to completing the next tasks related to the plot. As we gain new levels of experience, we unlock access to new buildings and get to know the next chapters of the story told by the creators.
Technical aspects
Enchanted Realm is characterized by a good graphic design, maintained in a typical fairy tale style. In addition, our kingdom can be decorated with various items, and the style and decor of buildings change depending on the season. The game uses a popular free-to-play model - thanks to microtransactions we can avoid some constraints typical of the genre, such as the time of contract completion. A number of useful bonuses can also be obtained by collecting special collections of items that fall randomly from individual buildings.
