Egg, Inc.
Economic strategy maintained in the idle clicker convention, in which the player plays the role of the owner of the chicken farm, and his task is to get rich on the wholesale production and sale of eggs.
Egg, Inc. is an uncomplicated economic strategy game employing the clicker formula. The title was created for AND and iOS mobile devices (where it is distributed in the free-to-play model) by Auxbrain.
Story
Egg, Inc. takes us into an alternative future in which the eponymous eggs are the key to understanding the universe's mysteries. The player takes on the role of the owner of a chicken farm, and their primary goal is to get rich on the wholesale production and sale of valuable eggs.
Mechanics
In the initial phase of Egg, Inc. our role is limited to tapping the red button to let the birds run into the henhouse and then lay eggs in peace and quiet. Thanks to this, the value of our farm increases with every second - in this way we also get the money needed to expand it and conduct research enabling us to increase revenues. For example, larger coops are able to accommodate more hens, while larger lorries for egg transport have more capacity.
In addition to standard upgrades that increase the speed at which hens "produce" the eggs, we have been provided with so-called "epic research", which make it possible, for example, to reduce the costs of erecting new buildings. It should be noted that we do not unlock them for cash, but in exchange for golden eggs collected during the game or bought through microtransactions.
When our farm exceeds a certain threshold of value, we may decide to switch to trading in more expensive eggs; in this case, however, we are losing almost all our existing possessions - we are only keeping "epic upgrades" and stocks of golden eggs.
Technical aspects
Egg, Inc. features two-dimensional graphics in an eye-catching, cartoonish style. The game is controlled using a simple and intuitive interface.
