Eden Crafters Description
Eden Crafters is a sandbox simulation game with survival elements, in which we fight to stay alive on an alien planet. The game was developed by the independent French studio Osaris Games, which has the project Technicity in its portfolio.
Gameplay
In Eden Crafters we play the role of an astronaut whose task is to find a new haven for humanity. The game puts at our disposal a number of planets differing in terms of their conditions. They include barren wastelands with radioactive areas, which are better not to venture into, or even planets struggling with powerful tides caused by a nearby moon.
During the game we watch the action from a third-person perspective (TPP). As we explore vast worlds with an open structure (on foot or in vehicles), we primarily focus on gathering resources necessary for technological development. We use them to produce tools, erect new buildings, and construct increasingly advanced machines and devices designed to improve our work.
Although at first we have to do everything ourselves, over time we begin to automate subsequent processes, putting conveyors to work and using other machines. Later in the game we have complex factories at our disposal. A separate mention should be made of environmental transformation systems, through which any planet can be made habitable by turning toxic lakes into sources of drinking water or purifying the atmosphere.
Game modes
In Eden Crafters we can play alone or in cooperative mode over the Internet.
