The fourth part of the adventures of Sweden's young lady detective. This time Carol Reed must examine the death of a homeless person. During the game we explore new locations and question suspects.

East Side Story is the fourth part of the product series published since 2004. It includes such titles as Remedy, Hope Springs Eternal: A Carol Reed Mystery and Time Stand Still. East Side Story does not make any revolutionary changes to the gameplay. We are still dealing with a very static adventure in which we observe the events from the perspective of the first person. It is noteworthy that the game was completely devoid of brutality and vulgarism. In addition, the manufacturer did not include any arcade sequences or tasks requiring the pursuit of time. As a result, you can only focus on the peaceful exploration of the environment.

Again we play the role of a young detective, Carol Reed, well known to the fans of this series. She is of English origin, but spent the last four years of her life in Sweden. Carol decides to relax a bit, going on a well-deserved holiday in the bosom of nature. However, her rest does not last long. The detective receives a letter from her friend who is currently in France. In a letter from Carol, the man says that his friend's apartment in Sweden has found a man's body. He was probably homeless. As both men cannot leave France, they ask the main character to look at this mysterious death.
