A classic RTS inspired by the Command & Conquer series. Dust Front RTS is set in a dieselpunk world full of mutants. The game combines real-time battles with turn-based grand strategy elements - we can plan our development when playing on a randomly generated world map.

Dust Front RTS is a real-time strategy inspired by the Command & Conquer series, with additional turn-based grand strategy elements. We wage bloody battles against the mutant plague on a devastated planet. This independent title was created by a Russian hiding behind the nickname RtsDimon.

Story background

The action of Dust Front RTS takes place on a planet devastated by wars and revolutions, where under a thick layer of soot and concrete lie the remnants of a former human empire. As viceroy , we take up the fight against the mutant plague, robots, and rebels in a non-linear story campaign.

Gameplay

The gameplay has two layers. On a procedurally generated map we manage the global economy, conduct research, trade, create armies, construct, equip and upgrade buildings in individual sectors and plan movements in a military campaign. This is done in a turn-based manner - each turn corresponds to a week, and the number of resources generated by each sector depends on the amount of inventory stored in the silos.

At the moment of battle Dust Front RTS switches to real time. We have at our disposal an arsenal of planes, infantry, tanks and other vehicles, as well as arsenal with unique effects. This includes nuclear weapons, capable of destroying an entire sector, as well as biological weapons, turning areas into breeding grounds for incurable diseases. Having chosen the territory to attack, we are reinforced by forces from all neighboring areas. There is a unit promotion system in the game.
