An arcade racing game which lets us take part in illegal street races in Japan, developed by independent JDM4iK studio. As its title suggests, Drift Street Japan focuses on the drift – a driving technique of performing a controlled oversteer for as long as possible. The players must collect points for drift by doing long and eye-catching slides, making turns close to obstacles or rapidly changing direction.

Drift Streets Japan for PC is an arcade racing game created by independent studio JDM4iK. Players have the opportunity to take part in illegal Japanese street races.

Mechanics

Drift Streets Japan on the titular drifting, a driving technique that consists of making a controlled slip. We have access to cars that differ in terms of appearance, handling and performance. The creators have managed to obtain a license to use real brands and models, so we can drive such classics as the Nissan 200SX, Toyota Supra, or even Mazda RX-7.

The core of the game is to complete the routes and gain as many points as possible - the game rewards long and spectacular slides, and additional multipliers are obtained both after driving close to an obstacle, as well as after changing the direction of driving. Other modes include racing at 1/4 mile, as well as the standard competition where we have to cross the finish line first.
