Dreamsettler is a unique sim and adventure game that is a spiritual successor to Hypnospace Outlaw, released in 2019. It was developed by Tendershoot and Noble Robot studios and published by No More Robots.

Plot

Dreamsettler takes us on a journey to an alternative, futuristic version of 2003, in which technology was invented that allows you to browse the Internet while you sleep. Sleepnet, as the network is called, is full of mysteries and dangers, discovered and investigated by private detectives. We play as one of these investigators, and our task is to solve a variety of cases - from obtaining top-secret recipes to following the trail of global conspiracies. Our actions shape not only our further fate, but also the future of the entire Sleepnet.

Game mechanics

The gameplay in Dreamsettler takes place entirely on a virtual computer screen. Surfing around the Sleepnet, we get to know its users and establish more or less friendly relations with them. Apart from that we look for useful information and try our hand at various mini-games.

Except from gaining data needed to close subsequent investigations, in Sleepnet we'll find a lot of strange music, movies and programs. In addition, the game allows us to create our own Sleepnet website from scratch, as well as customize the appearance of the virtual desktop to individual preferences.
