Mechanics

Drake Hollow is a game that combines many elements, but most of all the game is focused on exploring the world and collecting the ingredients needed to expand the premises that we, our vegetable companions and other players (if we decide to play in cooperation mode) live in. This requires the travel through various locations, which not only consist of a few square kilometres, but are generated procedurally with every season.

However, during the travel that we see from the third person perspective, we must manage time wisely and focus on finding the necessary resources to survive at a given moment. This is not easy, because not only do we have to meet the needs of tangerines so that they do not die of hunger, boredom or thirst; to improve our own equipment in order to be able to face the wicked wilderness, but also to consruct better buildings to make our lives easier. Among other things, there is the possibility of building a well to water a field with planted vegetables, a puppet theatre to entertain bored creatures, solar panels to provide access to electricity and various fortifications to protect against sudden attack.

We should also take care of our own equipment, necessary to fight the monsters and defend against them. For this purpose, we have the opportunity to equip the character created before the game begins with numerous and often absurd weapons, such as a tennis racket, axe or broomstick.

Game modes

Drake Hollow is designed both for single-player and for online co-op mode for up to four people.

Drake Hollow is a three-dimensional production with a cartoon, and sometimes even a fairy-tale visual setting, colorful and full of detail.
