Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation is a remake version of the original game published in 1995 on SNES. The remake was developed by ArtePiazza studio, which also prepared previous versions of the series, available on the Nintendo DS and mobile devices with iOS or Android system.

Plot

Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation features six heroes who have to defeat Mortamor. The world has been divided into Real World and Dream World, and each of them, although similar in design, looks different due to the changing environment.

Mechanics

The gameplay is largely based on these two worlds - our party can move between them using special portals. This is helpful when you need to find an item that is not available in one world - move on to another world and thus push the action forward. Once again, the well-known system of random battles returns and each character can be trained according to the selected class, which can be changed again during the game.

Technical aspects

The remake of Dragon Quest VI was done similarly as the remastered versions of previous games. The game features an isometric projection and 3D graphics maintained in a manga style. The controls have been adapted to the touchscreens.
