A fighting game developed by Bandai Namco. The action is set in the Dragon Ball universe created by Akira Toriyama. For the first time in the history of the franchise, the players can take part in two-member team (the eponymous Tag Team) fights. It applies to both multiplayer, where up to four fighters can compete, and the story campaign for solo players (in this case, the opposing team is controlled by the AI).

Dragon Ball Z: Tenkaichi Tag Team is a fight in which the player takes control of the heroes known from the Dragon Ball Z series and participates in spectacular, fictionalised clashes of two-person teams. The production was developed by the Japanese company Namco Bandai.

While in terms of the story the player does not really get anything new here (once again gets the opportunity to get acquainted with the story known from the anime Z series), the mechanics of the game can surprise with a few interesting solutions.

In Tenkaichi Tag Team for the first time in the history of the cycle, players were given a chance to take part in team clashes of the Tag Team type, i.e. 2-on-2 (both in singleleplayer and multiplayer mode). There are up to four PSP users, or a player who controls both characters and a team whose actions are the responsibility of artificial intelligence.
