There are over 50 famous heroes at our disposal as well as an advanced creator that lets us design our own warrior.
Dragon Ball Z for Kinect Description
Dragon Ball Z for Kinect for X360 is another, after Kinect Star Wars, attempt at popularizing the innovative controller for Xbox 360 among less-casual-more-hardcore players. The challenge was accepted by Namco Bandai, which owns the rights for the Dragon Ball Z franchise. The development was entrusted to a team at Spike, the creators of such games as Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 and Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi.
Plot
The action of Dragon Ball Z for Kinect is set in the fantasy world known from the incredible popular franchise of comic books, TV animated series, and feature films. The players can assume the role of 50 heroes of the Dragon Ball universe and even design a completely new fighter of their own.
Mechanics
The title offers two game modes. Story Mode is a classical campaign in which fights are interspersed by film cutscenes that present the plot. Score Attack lets us fight a duel where our task is not only to beat the opponent but also to score as many points as possible.
The controls of Dragon Ball Z for Kinect bases on the capabilities of the Kinect controller for Xbox 360. Players control their virtual avatars with the moves of their own body. The developers prepared over 100 special attacks and combos to be used, including the famous kamehameha.
Technical aspects
The graphics of Dragon Ball Z for Kinect for X360 does not deviate from its predecessors for Xbox 360 in terms of quality. The visual layer is designed to resemble the cartoon, while the gameplay is accompanied by dynamic soundtrack.
