Dragon Ball: Raging Blast Description
Dragon Ball: Raging Blast for PS3 and X360 is another production of Namco Bandai that is set in the Dragon Ball universe. Similarly to several previous titles of the series, Raging Blast is a fighting game in which we can fight with many famous characters from the animated TV series.
Plot
The story told in Raging Blast spans the events known from the Z series and several additional episodes which weren’t presented well in the anime. There are 70 different fighters to be fought while enjoying the plot. The list includes all main antagonists, especially Freeza and Buu, and the entire crew of the Z Team.
The developers prepared large arenas that can be freely destroyed with energy missiles or by hurling our adversaries into different elements of the environment. Compared to the Tenkaichi Budokai series, which can be considered Raging Blast’s predecessor, the freedom of movement in the air as well as aerial combat were improved.
Game modes
Namco Bandai’s production, apart from a single player mode, also offers the possibility of fighting another player in the versus mode.
Technical aspects
What differs Dragon Ball: Raging Blast for PS3 and X360 from previous productions of Namco Bandai is the visual layer. High-Definition cel-shading, the way of presenting the world, as well as characteristic Japanese style of animation are the game’s main davantages. Characters received many new animations and enhanced facial expressions. The changes make the cutscenes and fights look even more spectacular.
