Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 Description
Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 is a fighting game for PS3 and X360 in which the player assumes the role of characters known from the incredible popular Dragon Ball franchise and takes part in spectacular duels. The production is a sequel to the mediocre game from 2009 developed by Spike.
Plot
Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 is a classical representative of the genre. The player gets to take part in tens of duels interspersed with cutscenes that present the story. The latter are based on the plot of both Dragon Ball animated series.
Mechanics
The developers implemented 90 fighters in the game, including 20 that were unavailable in the original. The arenas, where heroes of Dragon Ball compete were also enhanced (there are also some that are entirely new as well). The changes affected mainly the interaction with the environment and its destructibility, which now influences the situation on the battlefield much more significantly.
The developers of Raging Blast 2 focused primarily on eliminating the biggest problems of the original. These included the controls and the camera that didn’t quite keep up with the fast-paced action. Both elements were designed from scratch to satisfy all Dragon Ball fans’ expectations.
Technical aspects
Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 for PS3 and X360 offers high-resolution graphics, animation at smooth 60 frames-per-second, and a good soundtrack. The production also retains the original Japanese dubbing, supplemented with English subtitles.
