Another expansion pack for Dragon Age: Origins - a game developed by the Canada-based studio BioWare. The plot focuses on a dwarven expedition sent to the caves in Orzammar in order to discover the secrets behind the structures built by golems. However, the entire group goes missing and the player character gets hired by Jerrik Dace - the brother of a dwarf who led the expedition.

Dragon Age: Origins - Golems of Amgarrak Description

Dragon Age: Origins – Golems of Amgarrak is another addition to one of the best roleplaying games of 2009. It was produced by BioWare which has created titles such as Neverwinter Nights, Knights of the Old Republic, Baldur's Gate, and Mass Effect.

A dwarven expedition sent to the caves of Orzammar in order to learn the secrets of golem construction disappeared without a trace. We are hired by Jerrik Dace'a (brother of the man commanding the expedition) to discover what really happened, and, if possible, find and bring home the hapless bearded men.

Golems of Amgarrak does not bother us with a complicated story or roleplaying. Instead, it puts an emphasis on spectacular combat. The expansion is designed for veterans of the cycle and offers a very high level of difficulty. Vast underground, which is inhabited by powerful opponents (eponymous golems), waits to be explored. There is also a bunch of new equipment to obtain. During the adventure, we are helped by a magical glowing ball, allowing the opening of mysterious chests and doors that glow blue.

The add-on allows you to import an existing character (both from Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age: Origins – Awakening) or to create a new, high-level one.
