Dr. Jekyll And Mr Hyde is one of several uncomplicated adventures prepared by Anuman Interactive with a view to conquering the casual market. Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde) by Robert Louis Stevenson was the source of inspiration for the developers.

The plot of the game is quite closely related to the literary original. The action takes place in nineteenth-century London. The player takes on the role of a respected lawyer Gabriel Utterson, who tries to prove the innocence of his friend, Dr. Henry Jekyll, suspected of several bestial acts. In the course of the investigation, the protagonist discovers more and more surprising connections between the esteemed doctor and the mysterious Mr. Hyd.

In search of clues the player visits many locations in Victorian London. The game consists mainly in solving puzzles such as "hidden objects", but the creators also took care to add variety in the form of uncomplicated puzzles and arcade mini-games. The game offers two modes of play - timed (with a time limit for each task) and classic (without limits).
