Downtown Challenge is an arcade car game produced by Team6 Game Studios in the Netherlands. The player takes on the role of a driver taking part in crazy races held on the streets of a virtual city. Developers have prepared 5 models of cars that can be raced against computer opponents.

Team6 Game Studios development team specializes in car games addressed to less demanding customers. His portfolio includes many low-budget titles combining arcade and racing elements, such as the Downtown Challenge.

The action takes place in a virtual metropolis, where luxury car owners compete for the title of the best driver, participating in illegal races in crowded streets.

The Downtown Challenge offers only one gameplay mode in which the player has 15 missions to complete. Tasks range from the traditional race, time trial, to the escape from the police. For each type of mission the creators have prepared several alternative routes. The essence of the game is to collect the money needed to buy in the next races and, if necessary, to buy another car (there are 5 of them in total) and to gain respect, which allows you to compete with more and more demanding opponents.
