Donald's sisters Huey, Dewey and Louie dream of their own playground in the park, where they could enjoy themselves all day long. Unfortunately, the devices necessary for this purpose are expensive and even collecting pocket money for a long time, they would not be able to equip it properly. But what is a good uncle from?
In Donald Duck's Playground, the player will play the role of the title, the famous duck, which will take the trouble of everyday work and fulfill the dreams of the nephews by buying toys in the park. There are four institutions in the centre of Duckburg where you can earn money. These are: a railway station (Donald becomes a messenger and controls the movement of trains so that they reach their destination), a warehouse (this is where the fruits are segregated by catching them and throwing them into appropriate boxes), a shop (using a ladder, we place toys on shelves), and an airport (from a conveyor belt we collect luggage and load them into a trolley assigned to them). The player sets the time he wants to devote to the job (1-9 minutes). After its completion, a summary and immediate payment is made. Toys are bought in one of the three shops located in the western part of the city. After making a choice and paying the appropriate fee, we can go to the park, where the nephews (and thus also the player) will use the acquired accessories.
The programme created by Al Lowe (Leisure Suit Larry, Freddy Pharkas: Frontier Pharmacist) has an outstanding educational character. Children playing Donald Duck's Playground will learn to recognize letters, associate similar objects and - which is very important in life - use money. The visuals on your knees aren't so stunning, but the worst thing is not - the ground that all the characters in the game (Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse or Goofy) can be easily recognized on the monitor screen. Generally, this is an interesting product, which will be equally successful in attracting both younger and slightly older players.
