A simulation game in which we play the role of a dog owner. In Dog Trainer we can both improve the skills of our dog and focus on his appearance and compete in beauty contests.

Dog Trainer is a simulation game in which we play the role of a dog owner. The game was developed by the independent Polish studio Moonlit and published by Frozen District.

Mechanics

Dog Trainer starts with the creation of your dream dog. When choosing his breed, we must remember that it largely determines both the physiognomy of our dog and his behaviour. Moreover, at this stage we decide on the sex of a more or less hairy friend and the details of his appearance. We still have nothing left to do but take care of our new companion.

Watching the action from the first person perspective (FPP), we spend time on playing, feeding and training the dog and watch as he grows from a puppy to a dignified animal. Initially, our dog can learn simple tricks. However, if we are good trainer who balance the rewards for obedience and reprimands for lack of discipline, over time his repertoire will expand considerably. Then there will be nothing left for us to do but to take part in the competition to put his skills to the ultimate test. On the other hand, nothing stands in the way of concentrating on the appearance of the four-legged and taking part in dog beauty contests.
