Jajowaty strand named Dizzy is a hero of seven adventure and skill games, several years ago making a real furore among the owners of Spectrum, Commodore 64 and Commodore Amiga computers. PeCet users have seen only three conversions and that's Dizzy: Prince of the Yolkfolk is one of them. The main goal of the game is to awaken Princess Daisy, who fell asleep for one hundred years due to the evil sorcerer's ignorance. However, it can only be saved by a kiss of a real prince, which is why our egg-shaped hero must first become one.
Prince of the Yolkfolk is a classic platformer with strongly marked adventure threads. In addition to jumping from here so far and avoiding various nasty things, Dizzy can take three objects with him at once and use them in certain places. Sometimes they will help to get to some location, sometimes they will be used to deal with the creatures bustling here and there, but the vast majority of them will be given out to the encountered NPCs, who in return give us more bamblets. Riddles are not difficult and generally everyone should cope with the mental part. The dexterity aspect is much worse, which, in short, is too difficult. Dizzy has only three lives, and can die both by losing energy, as well as by falling into the water. Half poor, if the game ends at the beginning of the adventure, but the shoemaker's passion can lead to situations in which the inscription Game Over is suddenly seen just before its completion. The option of recording the state of the game does not exist, so you have to start from the beginning.
In addition to perfect jumping and proper use of the rolling on the board gratuities, a bit of patience will be useful. To complete the game it is necessary to collect 20 pendants for the final cake, without them, you don't even have a reason to go to Daisy. Unfortunately, some of them are hidden behind landscape elements, and the last one, the twentieth, is placed on a cloud invisible at first glance, into which 9 out of 10 jumps end up falling into the water. And as you know, eggs don't swim....
