Continuation of an ambitious, thought-provoking 2015 adventure game. The player once again takes on the role of a young man named Price. This time the main theme of the game is guilt and redemption. The game was created by the Finnish independent producer Jesse Makkonen.

Distraint 2 is a two-dimensional point & click adventure game, representing the psychological thriller genre. The game is a continuation of the 2015 production. We play the role of a young, ambitious man named Price, who tries to forget about the demons of the past. This title was developed by Jesse Makken, an independent Finnish developer.

Plot

The hero of the game is a young man named Price. To secure his shares in McDade, Burton & Moore, the man has had to perform truly disgusting deeds in the past. The story of Distraint 2 focuses on his dilemmas and his attempt to free himself from pain and guilt. Will he be able to redeem himself?

Mechanics

Distraint 2 is a classic point & click adventure ame. The player explores locations, collects items, talks to NPCs and solves simple logic puzzles (usually finding something on the screen, getting to the right place or using some item). The main attraction of this production is a disturbing and thought-provoking story.

Distraint 2 can only be played alone.

Technical aspects

Distraint 2 features interesting two-dimensional visuals, which consists mainly of static and animated illustrations. Although in terms of technology it is unlikely to arouse any admiration, the game's interesting, disturbing artistic style will find a fan or two, and at the same time it fits perfectly the game's heavy topic. While playing, we are accompanied by an intriguing soundtrack, carefully matched to what is happening on the screen.
