Diamond Diaries Saga is a match-3 production, developed by the King studio; this is a team that gained worldwide fame due to the extremely popular Candy Crush Saga series. The title utilizes a free-to-play model with microtransactions.

Story

The main character of Diamond Diaries Saga is a jeweler named Lucy. The task set for her is to gather the special jewels she needs to create great necklaces. To find them all, the girl goes on a long journey, the first point of which is Paris.

Mechanics

The gameplay in Diamond Diaries Saga takes place on a two-dimensional board filled with colorful jewels; on the top of the screen, there is a diamond which Lucy desires, that needs to be brought down to the necklace located at the bottom. To do this, we combine smaller jewels of the same colour (three or more), which then disappear from the playing field. This is complicated by the fact that we have a limited number of movements that we can use during a single round, so the key to success is to create long and effective combinations.

Game modes

Diamond Diaries Saga offers a number of game modes, among which you can find: Open the Dolls, Open the Jewellery Box, and Open the Bottles.

Technical issues

Similarly to the other works of the King studio, the graphics of Diamond Diaries Saga are kept in a cartoony style and feature a rich colour pallet.
