Dexter Slice of Life was prepared on the occasion of the premiere of the sixth season of the popular Showtime series. Along with the emission of subsequent episodes of the series, the game features additional missions referring to the events currently taking place.

As we play, we take on the role of Dexter Morgan, who leads a double life. On the one hand, he is an experienced blood analyst working for the murder department and, on the other, he shows murderous instincts - he traces criminals on his own and brutally kills them, thus administering justice.

The game is basically divided into two parts. In the first place, our task is to collect evidence of the crime committed - we search crime scenes, steal keys to closed rooms and talk to suspects. In the second one we go to another location, where we sneak behind the villain, overpower him and murder him in a specially prepared room.

Each of the performed activities costs an appropriate amount of energy (called masking), and in return for the progress in the game we receive cash needed, among other things, to equip the apartment. Over time, the main hero gets promoted to the next level and then we increase one of the selected statistics: attack, defense, masking or creeping.

Like most Facebook productions, Dexter Slice of Life allows you to invite your friends to play and, for example, share information about your progress and send bonus items. In PvP mode, other people play the role of murderers, which the player must track down, prove their guilt, and then murder.

Dexter Slice of Life's graphics are maintained at a standard level for social productions like The Sims Social or Mission: Impossible - The Game. We observe the game in isometric projection and move between small locations.
