DeTechtive 2112 is an action adventure game, maintained in the atmosphere of cyberpunk noir. The production is the fruit of cooperation between independent teams M11 Studio and 5Deniz.
The plot of
DeTechtive 2112 takes us to the future, to England from the title year 2112 (or rather, what is left of it after World War III). The game's main protagonist is Matthew Wallace, having returned from the front, working as a private detective in a rain-bathed city illuminated by the glow of neon lights.
One day a certain unofficial case comes across his desk, which starts a whole series of related investigations. Conducting them, the protagonist uncovers dark secrets of the elite, and faces shadows from his past. In doing so, he is not alone, as he is indispensably supported by his secretary Abigail.
Gameplay
In DeTechtive 2112 , the action is viewed in an isometric view. The game is divided into investigations, each of which takes place on a separate map and tells a separate story. How we take on a case is up to us.
We can either engage in open skirmishes, taking part in dynamic shoot-outs, or, on the contrary, work quietly and sneak behind the backs of enemies or eliminate them by surprise. The former is encouraged by a rich arsenal including machine guns, a sniper rifle or a rocket launcher.
