Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris is an expansion pack for the popular PC game Destiny 2. The expansion is set on Mercury and features new adventures, co-op challenges, PvP maps, and new types of raids.
Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris for PC, PS4 and XONE is an expansion pack for the shooter game Destiny 2. It's not a stand-alone expansion, so it requires the core game to run. Both of those productions were developed by Bungie Software, known for the first installments of the Halo and Myth series.
Plot
Curse of Osiris is set after the events of the main campaign of Destiny 2. A gate in your part of the galaxy has opened, allowing the Vex – an ancient cyborg race – to invade, threatening the whole universe. The story focuses on attempting to save the eponymous space warlock called Osiris, an exile and former mentor of Ikora Rey.
Only Osiris knows how to stop the Vex, but they don't just decide to wait idly and instead pursue him. Your task is to save Osiris and obtain the information he has. To achieve that, you go to Mercury.
Mechanics
Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris doesn't change the gameplay mechanics much and focuses on new content. The expansion features a patrol zone on Mercury, with new adventures. You can also obtain new weapons, armors, and other items.
There are also new co-op activities and PvP arenas, as well as new types of raids known from the base game, featuring new challenges, puzzles, and a previously unseen boss. Furthermore, you can also rest for a while in the Lighthouse. In the core game, it was only available to those, who flawlessly completed the Trials of Osiris challenge – now everyone can visit it.

IGN: 5.5 / 10 by Destin Legarie
Curse of Osiris landed in Destiny 2 with a thud. Its campaign and story are a bust, its new content is mixed and buggy at best, and it does nothing to address the community's loud cries for fixes to the endgame. The few redeeming features are its more challenging and varied Adventures, and the Raid Lair's puzzles and tough boss battle.
Digital Trends: 2.5 / 5 by Phil Hornshaw
Full of repetition, "Curse of Osiris" feels like a step back for "Destiny 2."
Metro GameCentral: 5 / 10
A distinctly unambitious expansion that adds nothing meaningful to the parent game except a very short, and mostly dull, new story campaign.
