Improved version of the very popular shooting. The differences include primarily the quality of the graphics finish. We play the role of a helicopter pilot, performing missions in enemy territory.

An improved version of one of the most playable arcade shooters of the 1990s. Desert Strike had its premiere in 1994. This game has been released for many different hardware platforms, including Amiga computers and SNES consoles. Interestingly, this game was also released for the first generation of GameBoy console. This edition was created, of course, with the owners of a newer version of GameBoy (Advance model) in mind. No revolutionary changes have been made to this product as far as the course of the game is concerned. The most serious changes included graphics. Further on, however, we are dealing with an isometric projection and a two-dimensional environment. The Strike Advance Desert was created exclusively for single players.

The basic assumptions of the game remained unchanged. We still have the opportunity to play the role of pilot of the Apache helicopter, carrying out activities in an unidentified Arab state. We have several different missions to play. Each mission is one large map, on which we can move freely. As you can easily guess, flying is not the end of the game, because we have to perform the tasks commissioned by the command. These, in turn, can be various. We deal with the destruction of selected constructions as well as saving allies on the map. The player has to take into account two very important factors at the same time - the amount of ammunition and the amount of fuel available. You cannot stay in the air indefinitely. It is therefore necessary to look for boxes or suitable landing sites.
